Let’s see what the Christ Mind wants to show us today. You each seem to be enjoying our adventure so let’s stay awhile longer. This is one of those trips that you don’t want to rush home from.
We see shoppers in a large department store. It’s Christmas time and there’s a celebrity book signing. A woman has brought her daughter to this event and they are waiting in line to have a book signed and to take a picture with the celebrity. Let’s focus on the mother.
She is a beautiful soul. Everyone around her can feel her positive energy. Life hasn’t been a picnic for her though. She’s had two bouts of cancer and a litany of other difficult things to deal with. Yet, she focuses on love and being the presence of love, even when she doesn’t feel like getting out of bed in the morning.
When it’s their turn, the mother’s daughter is beside herself to get to meet her favorite author. Both mom and daughter have a picture taken together with the celebrity. Let’s stop here.
This is everyday love. This is spectacularly regular love. Love is rarely front page news but love is alive and love can never be forgotten. Love is in the small things, the special things and the ordinary things. Love is a creation that can never die. It is always finding new ways to be expressed.
The mother has every reason to not focus on love and yet she knows that love is what carries her from one moment to the next, so she allows it to express through her. Everyone around her benefits from her decision.
Let love express through you today. Tomorrow we will turn our chairs around and explore the unseen world.
