Dear Brethren,

Hello again. It is Helen. I hope you haven’t grown tired of me yet. I really like communicating like this and hope I can do it frequently.

Miracles was hard to write down because of how complicated it was. The lessons were pretty straightforward but the text was exceedingly complicated for me because of the words Jesus selected. They were common words with very common meanings. So, here I was hearing these words but I didn’t recognize the meanings anymore. “Real” and “illusion” were two examples. Readers today still struggle with them. It was especially hard for me because as I’ve said last night, the whole thing was hard for me to process on a cognitive level. I kept going because I knew that there was something there, something mysterious and powerful, something otherworldly. It could not be ignored. The beginning of the text explains what miracles are. I knew deep down inside that nothing like this was in any book. As far as I knew, it didn’t exist in the human realm of knowledge. I say this because I considered myself an educated woman, which was a source of great pride. So, as you can see, writing A Course in Miracles was quite difficult. Rick has had it much easier because he already knew what all of the words meant! (smile)

Miracles teaches willing readers to tame their minds because thoughts themselves cause so many problems. Mari’s book showed the way of the heart to its audience to replace an entirely masculine approach. Journey weaves the two together. I have much more to say later today.

Love and inspiration, Helen, your sister in Christ
